The Meijs Motorman Classic is an electric moped created by a product designer from The Netherlands, Mr. Ronald Meijs. The moped is designed as a as a lightweight and comfortable mobility solution for cities. The moped is hand made and is certified byĀ TĆV in Germany.
The moped is presented internationally as an icon of Dutch Design and is already placed in various museums and exhibitions.
The moped weighs just 48 kg and has a 2,000 watt motor for a restricted top speed of 45 km / h.
The moped has a built-in lithium battery with a range of 50-65 km. The charge time is 3-4 hours using a fast charger.
The moped has a Kinetic Energy Recovery SystemĀ (KERS) or regenerative braking in which energy from braking is returned to the battery. Regenerative braking reduces air pollution emitted by disc brakes while saving power costs.
The saddle and pedals are made from handmade leather.
