The Gogoro 2 Utility is an electric cargo / delivery scooter from Taiwanese electric scooter brand Gogoro, a subsidiary of HTC, one of the biggest smart phone makers in the world.

The Gogoro 2 Utility is a special edition of the 2 Series. The 2 Series offers almost the same performance as the Gogoro 1 but has a much lower price.

The scooter has a 6,400 watt electric motor for a top speed of 90 km/h. The scooter accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in 4.3 seconds.

The speed of the scooter can be restricted to be officially registered as 45 km/h scooter.

The 2 Series Utility is equiped with a carrying rack capable of holding up to 45kg of cargo. The scooter is designed to transport up to 160kg cargo with optimal driving performance, also in mountain environments with steep hills. The scooter is available with many types of top cases and cargo boxes for many types of business purposes.

The scooter is specially optimized for cargo / delivery purposes. The scooter has a specially tuned suspension system, a reverse gear and a extra heavy duty kick stand capable of stabily parking the scooter while heavily loaded.

The scooter is equipped with dual disc brakes, regenerative braking (engine braking) and Synchronized Braking System (SBS) that delivers simultaneous braking force to the front and rear wheels, balancing stopping force to reduce slips when hard braking or during panic stops while carrying heavy cargo. The Gogoro 2 Utility scooter is optimized for safety specifically for cargo / delivery purposes.

The scooter is available with many accessoires specifically designed for cargo / delivery purposes including a navigation/smart phone holder with a robust / durable movable arm.

IPX5 water proof

Like all Gogoro scooters, the scooter is optimized for safety and is IPX5 waterproof. The scooter will enable to continue driving during floods and storms while most petrol scooters will fail.

The scooter is equipped with regenerative braking that will return power to the batteries and that helps to reduce air pollution from disc brakes.

Low maintenance

The Gogoro 2 Series uses mass-market parts that are easily accessible and fairly priced. Businesses can fix and maintain their vehicles the ways that fit them best. Compared to a petrol scooter, a Gogoro electric scooter may require 80 to 90% less maintenance.

The Gogoro 2 Series is digitally encrypted and fingerprint authenticated making the scooter virtually unstealable. With the same trusted tech that keeps banks and servers secure, the scooter will not drive for anyone but the owner. The scooter has a wireless key.

Battery Swap network

Unlike other electric scooters that charge via a wall outlet, the Gogoro is provided with a battery subscription and a network of GoStation battery swapping stations. It takes just 6 seconds to swap the battery for a new charged battery.

Next to the battery swap network Gogoro also offers a charging station called a GoCharger that charges both batteries in 2.5 hours.

The range of the batteries is 110 km.

The scooter can be ordered in any color and with custom business print.

Disc Brakes: air pollution

Air Pollution by Disc Brakes causes 20% of the total emissions by a standard car and the pollution (ultra-fine dust) is more toxic for humans than exhaust fumes.
