The VX-1 is a electric motorcycle scooter from the company Vectrix, a company originally from the U.S. and one of the first pioneers in electric scooters which was brought back to life in 2016 by a electric scooter factory in Poland.

The scooter is categorized as a 125cc scooter, has a top speed of 120 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 80 km/h in 6.25 seconds.

The Vectrix VX-1 is available with 4 battery options: 5.5kW, 8kW, 13kW and 16kW for a range up to 280 km. Vectrix offers 3 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty on the battery. Third party battery cycling tests indicate an expected battery life of 10 years (capacity above 80% of nominal).

The charge time of the batteries is 1 hour per 100km with a total time of 3 hours for a full charge (280km range).

The scooter has aĀ Kinetic Energy Recovery SystemĀ (KERS) or regenerative braking in which energy from braking is returned to the battery. The VX-1Ā as every Vectrix has a revolutionary Multi-functionalĀ Throttle technology, which can increase the range by up to 12%. Ā It is a unique innovation which slows the vehicle down by reversing the polarity of the motor to recharge the batteries. Ā It also provides a slow-speed reverse gear, which enables ease-of-movement in parking and tight spaces.
