The VX-2 is a electric scooter from the U.S. company Vectrix, a company originally from the U.S. and one of the first pioneers in electric scooters which was brought back to life in 2016 by a electric scooter factory in Poland.
The Vectrix VX-2 is equipped with a removable battery and is available in 2 battery options: 2kW and 3kW for a range up to 150 km. Vectrix offers 3 Years Warranty on the battery.
The charge time of the battery is 3 hours. The scooter has a built in on board charger to make it easy to charge the scooter when traveling longer distances.
The scooter has a 4000 watt motor that accelerates the scooter from 0 to 45 km/h in 7 seconds. Without restriction the scooter can be registered as motorcycle scooter with a top speed of 75 km/h.
The scooter has a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) or regenerative braking in which energy from braking is returned to the battery. The VX-2 as every Vectrix has a revolutionary Multi-functional Throttle technology, which can increase the range by up to 12%. It is a unique innovation which slows the vehicle down by reversing the polarity of the motor to recharge the batteries. It also provides a slow-speed reverse gear, which enables ease-of-movement in parking and tight spaces.
